About
Pranam, a Bryan Fellowship Project, is aimed at improving doctor-patient relationships and cultural transparency in Western healthcare spaces through more culturally conscious treatments for immigrant populations. Taking a ground-up approach, we hope to engage the rising pre-health student community, where we can educate on the use of Ayurveda. Through a research committee, we pinpoint epistemic injustices surrounding the efficacy of perceived ayurvedic research. Through an events committee, we are planning seminars to introduce and engage with Ayurveda, especially through a healthcare lens. And through outreach, we hope to establish valuable partnerships.
